TechFlow reports that Neon EVM, Solana's EVM compatibility solution, has announced the launch of its Beta test version, Neon EVMβ, on the Solana mainnet.
Neon EVMβ is a fully functional version of Neon EVM supporting fee-free transactions. It offers ecosystem participants an opportunity to deploy and test their applications, ensuring seamless service integration prior to the official mainnet rollout.
By launching the beta version, the Neon EVM team can introduce and test ecosystem participants' services in a controlled phase. The first stage involves onboarding infrastructure components, followed by the second stage which accepts DApps and tests wallet connectivity. At the end of the testing period, when NEON tokens become available on the market to pay for transactions, Neon EVM will switch back to normal operation mode. This means independent proxy operators (P2P and Everstake) will resume responsibility for accepting and processing transactions. Proxy operators' RPC endpoints will be available on ChainList.
