TechFlow news: Bitcoin mining company CleanSpark will acquire two U.S. bitcoin mining facilities in Dalton, Georgia for $9.3 million in cash. These two mining sites will house over 6,000 bitcoin mining rigs, including the latest-generation Antminer S19 XP and S19j Pro+ units. According to the press release, these machines were ordered and paid for by CleanSpark earlier this year. This acquisition is part of CleanSpark’s plan to achieve its end-of-2023 growth target of 16 EH/s.
"This acquisition secures sufficient infrastructure for us to reach our year-end goal of 16 EH/s," said CleanSpark CEO Zach Bradford in the press release. "These two additional sites demonstrate our deepening relationships with rural communities in Georgia and the regional expertise we've accumulated as a large, flexible load. Importantly, our efforts are driving economic growth in the suburban and rural areas where we operate."
