TechFlow reports that Tether and Bitfinex have awarded a grant of 100,000 USDT to Qubes OS to support the open-source development of Qubes OS, a data security and privacy-focused operating system. Tether stated that Qubes OS leverages Xen-based virtualization technology to isolate different tasks and applications in separate virtual machines called "qubes," delivering a higher level of security than traditional operating systems. This approach creates a highly secure environment for performing sensitive activities such as financial transactions, accessing confidential information, or conducting secure communications.
