TechFlow news: Recently, MachiBigBrother posted a lengthy statement on Twitter refuting a series of previous allegations made by on-chain investigator ZachXBT. He stated that as early as June 2022, ZachXBT published a post claiming he misappropriated funds—a claim that is false and unsupported by evidence. He also noted that although the Twitter crypto community has already judged him, only a court of law can deliver true justice.
Specifically, he rebutted the following allegations from ZachXBT:
-
Regarding Formosa Financial: He did not steal 22,000 ETH. He had no access to the project’s financial ETH multisig, and none of the receiving addresses belong to him—they belong to the project's CEO and CTO.
-
Regarding Cream Finance: In 2020, he handed over Cream Finance to a respected team and had already left the project before the vulnerability occurred. In February 2022, he returned to manage the project and helped recover funds for those affected by the exploit.
-
Regarding Squid DAO: He never engaged in "Pump and Dump" or any improper conduct. He participated in Squid DAO and supported a proposal to return DAO funds, resulting in over 12,000 ETH being refunded to Squid DAO participants. He also mentioned that he frequently joins Twitter Spaces and welcomes any questions.
