Previously, the Paris Prosecutor's Office confirmed that Binance is under investigation by local authorities for "illegally" providing digital asset services and "aggravated money laundering." In response, Binance emphasized in its statement that it complies with all laws in France and will provide user information in accordance with legal procedures during regulatory or law enforcement inquiries.
Binance also stated that it invests significant time and resources in collaborating with law enforcement agencies globally, and user information remains secure—only disclosed to government officials when supported by documented and legitimate legal grounds.
