TechFlow news, June 16 — Nischal Shetty, co-founder of cryptocurrency exchange WazirX, announced on Twitter that Shardeum will launch a new testnet called the DApp Testnet on Sphinx, which will run in parallel with the existing Validator Testnet.
While the current Validator Testnet focuses on validator operations, the new DApp Testnet will concentrate on decentralized applications. Shetty stated that as the team works to ensure the stability of the Validator Testnet, they will provide the DApp Testnet, which will be sharded but operated by team-run nodes, ensuring that DApp development speed remains unaffected during Validator Testnet activities.
