TechFlow news: MakerDAO may remove up to $390 million of Gemini's stablecoin GUSD from its reserves.
The community is currently voting on a proposal to reduce the maximum amount of GUSD in Maker's DAI reserve from $500 million to $110 million. The proposal states that "reducing GUSD exposure can allocate capital toward higher-yielding opportunities, thereby improving capital efficiency."
Currently, approximately 94% of votes support the proposal. Maker holds about 88% of the total circulating supply of GUSD, which amounts to $568 million.
