TechFlow news — Ankr, a Web3 infrastructure provider in the blockchain space, has announced a strategic partnership with Horizen, becoming one of Horizen’s first remote procedure call (RPC) providers. EON by Horizen is a fully Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible smart contract platform. Ankr’s advanced infrastructure and services will bring enhanced accessibility, scalability, and reliability to the EON ecosystem, supporting a wide range of use cases including DeFi, gaming, and NFTs.
As part of this collaboration, Ankr will provide a suite of development tools enabling fast and easy creation and deployment of smart contract applications on EON, including the Liquid Staking SDK, Web3 Gaming SDK, and AppChains-as-a-Service. Leveraging Ankr’s high-performance RPC node infrastructure, EON can handle any request load, significantly improving its scalability and efficiency. Rob Viglione, co-founder and CEO of Horizen, stated that this partnership will substantially enhance the capabilities of the EON ecosystem, delivering unparalleled value to developers and users alike.
Currently, Horizen’s EON operates on its permanent public testnet Gobi, backed by a network of products, integrations, and tools—which now includes Ankr. With the launch of this partnership, the EON ecosystem is set to welcome more dApps and services. In the coming months, it will integrate Horizen’s zero-knowledge-enabled cross-chain protocol with Ankr’s advanced Web3 infrastructure to create a permissionless, interoperable, and customizable blockchain ecosystem.
