TechFlow reports that Starknet, an Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution, has recently launched a new version, Starknet Alpha v0.12.0. This release focuses on enhancing network throughput to improve scalability and transaction latency. The update includes major improvements to the sequencer, such as optimized sequencer performance, removal of the Pending state, and enhanced block hash system calls.
In addition, Starknet has introduced a new Rust implementation for the sequencer, enabling more efficient native storage and critical path logic, significantly reducing transaction confirmation times and alleviating network congestion.
