TechFlow news, John Deaton, a lawyer supporting XRP, stated that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has less than a 3% chance of a complete victory, while Ripple has a 25% chance of winning. He also predicted a 50% probability that the ruling will result in a compromise.
In addition, Deaton forecasted that the XRP token price could range between $2 and $10 following a favorable ruling. He noted that Judge Torres is expected to issue the final decision no later than September 30 this year.
Moreover, there are rumors that Ripple may pursue an IPO after the litigation concludes. According to a June 2 tweet by Fox Business journalist Eleanor Terrett, Ripple held a "roadshow" meeting with underwriters and other investors to gauge potential interest in a public offering.
