TechFlow news — Microsoft has signed an AI computing power agreement with startup CoreWeave, committing to invest billions of dollars over the next several years into cloud computing infrastructure. According to sources familiar with the matter, Microsoft earlier reached an agreement with CoreWeave to ensure sufficient computing capacity for OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT. OpenAI relies on Microsoft's Azure cloud platform to meet its massive computational demands.
Earlier, CoreWeave announced a $200 million Series B extension funding round from hedge fund Magnetar Capital.
