TechFlow News — On June 2, Optimism launched Foundation Missions, opening its Request for Proposals (RFP) process across multiple domains. As part of Optimism Governance Season 4, the initiative introduces "Foundation Missions," an RFP program aimed at building core infrastructure for the Optimism Collective.
The first set of missions spans areas including governance accessibility, technical decentralization, protocol research, and application development, with proposals open to any team (or coalition) within the ecosystem.
RFP projects include Proof of Dynamic Delegation, zero-knowledge proof research, Proof of Concept for leader election, DAO archival maintenance, Code of Conduct enforcement, and the Governor v2 contract.
Interested teams must submit their proposals by June 28. The Foundation will select winning proposals by July 13 for implementation. Each RFP completed will be rewarded with a designated amount of OP tokens allocated to the delivering team.
Teams may also propose their own mission to support core objectives of the Optimism Collective and receive OP rewards upon completion. To participate, submit your mission proposal to the governance forum for review by June 21.
