TechFlow reports that the Abyss World team, a Web3 blockchain gaming project in the Sui ecosystem, will conduct its IDO on Polygon on June 1. The team believes SUI's dynamic NFT and high TPS features are well-suited for gaming scenarios, so they plan to handle all game-related settlements on the SUI chain. They chose Polygon for trading primarily for two reasons: first, the previously issued AWC tokens have already been distributed on Polygon, and Gazer is also EVM-based, making reward collection more convenient; second, Polygon offers a larger supply of native USD-denominated tokens, providing enhanced security.
Given recent incidents affecting multiple blockchains, the Abyss World team is exercising caution regarding stablecoin asset bridging to avoid exposing users to unnecessary risks. As EVM chains offer better liquidity, the team prefers that user assets remain in more liquid and secure environments, while still ensuring an improved gaming experience for users on the SUI chain.
