According to The Block, citing sources familiar with the matter, Paradigm is shifting from being solely focused on cryptocurrency to also include "cutting-edge" technologies such as artificial intelligence. However, individuals familiar with the strategy say the firm hasn't changed its core mission and continues to focus on crypto and Web3. The updated website copy aims to emphasize its strong foundation in technical research, noting that Paradigm has previously backed companies like AI Arena that explore emerging technologies within their core strategies.
