TechFlow reports that AI startup Anthropic has raised $450 million in a Series C funding round led by Spark Capital, with participation from Google, Salesforce Ventures, Sound Ventures, Zoom Ventures, and others.
Anthropic will use the funds to continue building its AI products and conducting new research on the opportunities and risks associated with artificial intelligence.
Founded in 2021, Anthropic previously completed Series A and B rounds. This latest financing brings the company's total funding to over $1 billion. Yasmin Razavi, General Partner at Spark Capital, will join Anthropic's board of directors.
