TechFlow news: From December 2019 to last November, executives and staff at South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Coinone are suspected of accepting bribes to list at least 46 tokens, according to data as of March 1—amounting to roughly one-quarter of all tokens listed on the exchange.
A relevant official from the South Korean prosecution stated, "The number of involved tokens may further increase during the ongoing supplementary investigation." Kim, former head of Coinone's listing team, and Hwang, a listing broker, are separately suspected of accepting bribes amounting to 1.94 billion won (approximately $14.71 million) and 1.04 billion won (approximately $7.89 million).
