TechFlow news, the full-chain interoperability protocol MAP Protocol has released the BRC-201 token cross-chain standard and will soon launch an API service for BRC-20 ledger parsing and indexing. The BRC-201 token cross-chain standard is compatible with BRC-20 to enhance scalability, enabling BRC-20 tokens to be bridged to smart contract-supporting blockchains such as Ethereum, BNB Chain, and NEAR, thereby integrating BRC-20 assets into DeFi and other financial applications.
BRC-201 is a decentralized BRC-20 cross-chain standard protocol; enhanced indexers supporting BRC-201 can parse additional extended operations. This standard meets technical requirements of institutions like exchanges for deposit and withdrawal of BRC-20 assets, supports integration of cross-chained BRC-20 assets into DeFi and other financial scenarios, and will later add support for NFTs within the BTC ecosystem.
