TechFlow news — MicroStrategy co-founder and Executive Chairman Michael Saylor said in an interview that the software company is researching Ordinals and evaluating their potential for application development.
Saylor noted that developing applications based on Bitcoin's capabilities could also drive broader adoption of Bitcoin among individuals, companies, and governments. While Saylor did not specify which use cases MicroStrategy might explore, he emphasized that the ability to commit data to the Bitcoin blockchain involves far more than just transactions, with numerous potential applications.
Earlier reports indicated that Saylor stated on X (formerly Twitter): "MicroStrategy is developing a product that provides every corporate account holder with a Bitcoin wallet and a Lightning address, enabling corporate account holders to quickly and easily build and deploy Bitcoin rewards applications for employees, customers, prospects, and partners."
