TechFlow news: The Research Institute of China Telecommunications Corporation Limited has jointly launched the BSIM card in Shanghai with Shanghai Conflux Blockchain Research Institute (Conflux Network).
Compared to traditional SIM cards, the BSIM card is portable, highly secure, and high-performing, which will promote innovation and industrial ecosystem development for Web3.0 applications.
Regarding the promotion and application of the BSIM card, Li Anmin, Deputy Director of the Research Institute of China Telecommunications Corporation Limited, stated that China Telecom will collaborate with partners to drive the deployment of the digital asset card BSIM in Hunan and other regions, targeting applications in metaverse digital assets, digital identity authentication, and IoT device data collection. Meanwhile, Shanghai is building itself into a hub for blockchain industry innovation and development.
