TechFlow reported, according to Coindesk, that the Podgorica Basic Court has accepted a proposal to pay 400,000 euros to the court for the release of Do Kwon, co-founder of Terraform Labs. Following the court's approval of the 400,000-euro (approximately $436,000) bail payment, Do Kwon will be released from custody pending trial. His associate Han Chang-joon will also be released on 400,000 euros of bail. During the bail period, Kwon and Terra executive Han Chang-joon will be under surveillance and prohibited from leaving their apartments.
It is reported that the prosecution opposed the proposal, pointing out that the amount offered does not guarantee the defendants' presence, as the defendant has no interest in remaining within Montenegro. The prosecution also noted that the conditions for surveillance measures have not been established. The dissatisfied party has the right to appeal the court's decision within three days.
