TechFlow news, according to Blockworks, Neutron, a chain in the Cosmos ecosystem, has received the green light from Cosmos Hub to launch on Replicated Security (RS), aiming to bring smart contracts to the Cosmos network through CosmWasm (Cosmos WebAssembly). Neutron will become the first chain to launch on RS, positioning itself among the top ten economically secure proof-of-stake chains and establishing itself as a central, neutral smart contract platform across the entire Cosmos ecosystem.
After undergoing multiple audits, implementing core modules, and successfully deploying a testnet, Cosmos Hub initiated an on-chain vote to determine whether Neutron was ready for launch on RS. Last Friday, the proposal passed with a 61% voter turnout. Over 90% of community members voted in favor, only 1% opposed, and nearly 9% abstained.
RS is a shared security model designed by Cosmos Hub, providing enhanced security for projects launching as consumer chains on the Hub.
