TechFlow news, according to official information, Lido has updated its progress on the V2 version via Twitter, stating: "The final on-chain vote for the V2 upgrade is scheduled for Friday, May 12. If the final survey raises no issues and the vote succeeds, Lido V2 will go live following the vote's effective date on May 15."
After a successful vote, stakers can expect the following outcomes:
1. Direct protocol-level stETH: ETH withdrawals;
2. Staking router architecture, paving the way for new staking modules.
ETH held in the withdrawal treasury will be used to fulfill withdrawal requests and will be re-staked when the queue is empty. After the upgrade, approximately 270,000 ETH in the treasury will be available, enabling initial withdrawal requests to be satisfied without going through lengthy validator exit procedures. This means withdrawal requests may be processed faster within the first three days.
