TechFlow news, according to The Block, Playcraft, an NFT commercialization-focused blockchain gaming platform, completed a $2 million seed round in August 2022. The round was co-led by Animoca and Shima Capital, with participation from Big Brain Holdings, Klaytn, Orgin Ventures, Waterdrip Capital, and others. Funds will be primarily used for platform game development.
Andrew, founder of Playcraft, said that the company plans to launch its Series B funding round in May, aiming to support ongoing game R&D, product operations, and marketing efforts. The testnet (Alpha version) is set to launch around that time, followed by the mainnet Beta launch in August 2023.
Mobaverse is PlayCraft's first in-house developed MOBA-style blockchain game, allowing players to use their own NFTs as heroes. The platform’s initial NFT partners include prominent blue-chip communities such as BAYC and Azuki.
