TechFlow news — Swedish NTF football gaming company Goals announced a $20 million Series A funding round led by Seven Seven Six, the firm founded by Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, with participation from Northzone, Moonfire, and Cassius. To date, the company has raised a total of $39 million.
The new funds will be used to grow the team from 50 to 75 employees and accelerate development of its game, currently in pre-beta. Goals aims to make its game free-to-play and cross-platform on consoles and PCs, focusing on social and competitive gameplay with Web3.0 elements.
