TechFlow reports, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Gary Gensler said, "Cryptocurrency trading platforms must comply with regulations, register with the SEC, and address their conflicts of interest. Cryptocurrency platforms must treat digital assets as securities, and platforms need to stop acting as if the regulatory framework is unclear. If you are an exchange, a note trading platform, a broker, or a dealer, you must follow the rules, register with us, manage conflicts of interest, and disclose material information."
