TechFlow reports that LayerZero Labs, the development team behind interoperability protocol LayerZero, has launched a new project called Essence, which decouples security and operational burdens, enabling anyone to launch and run validators (oracles and relays) within one hour—previously a process that took months and required support from an entire development team.
LayerZero Labs said this marks the first step toward v2, with over 50 entities already on the validator waitlist. The company plans to open-source the code and release documentation in the coming months.
