TechFlow news — On the latest episode of the "All in" podcast, U.S. billionaire and Social Capital founder Chamath Palihapitiya said that cryptocurrency has died in the United States.
He stated that cryptocurrency now poses a threat to governments and the existing financial system, and regulators are doing everything they can to drive crypto out of the country.
Palihapitiya also criticized the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for putting Coinbase in a difficult position, even though Coinbase is attempting to comply with regulations.
He emphasized that the now-bankrupt cryptocurrency exchange FTX was the closest to receiving approval from top regulatory authorities.
