TechFlow reports, according to an announcement from the Telegram wallet bot @wallet on April 21, the bot has released a feature update enabling @wallet users to directly purchase, withdraw, exchange Bitcoin, and conduct Bitcoin P2P transactions via its updated web interface. Previously, Bitcoin was only accessible within the text-based bot; now all @wallet users can utilize this web interface.
Another new feature of the platform is the upgraded trading interface. Through this new wallet trading interface, users can instantly trade BTC, USDT, and TON tokens, increasing the total number of trading pairs to six.
In April last year, it was reported that the TON Foundation had added cryptocurrency payment functionality to Telegram, allowing users to purchase Bitcoin through Telegram's "@wallet" bot feature. In November last year, the Telegram wallet bot began supporting direct TON token trading within the app's chat interface.
