TechFlow news, according to The Block, Prabal Banerjee, former research lead at Polygon, has left the company and will join Avail—the modular blockchain project spun off from Polygon—as a co-founder.
Earlier reports indicated that on March 16, Polygon spun out its modular blockchain project Avail into an independent entity. Anurag Arjun, co-founder of Polygon, departed from Polygon and acquired Avail, with the Avail team relocating to the new entity. Avail is currently operating on testnet, with the mainnet set to launch soon. As part of the spin-off, a new non-profit foundation, Avail Foundation, will be established, and governance will ultimately be transferred to the community.
