TechFlow reports that Accredify, a Singapore-based blockchain verification technology solutions provider, has announced the completion of a $7 million Series A funding round led by iGlobe Partners and SIG Venture Capital, with participation from existing investors Pavilion Capital and Qualgro.
Accredify leverages underlying blockchain technology to ensure the authenticity of shared or received documents, preventing fraud and forgery—such as fake degrees and counterfeit certificates. The company also enables businesses to create customer identities, wallets, or document storage on blockchains (currently primarily on Ethereum), ensuring business data is verifiable.
