TechFlow news, on April 19, Metagame Industries, the developer of Abyss World, announced a partnership with Space and Time, a decentralized data warehousing platform backed by Microsoft, to jointly establish new standards for Web3 gaming.
Through collaboration with Space and Time, Abyss World will deliver a more decentralized and efficient gaming experience to players. Leveraging distributed and secure data storage methods, Abyss World will also unlock greater potential for growth, providing players with a more transparent and trustworthy gaming environment.
In addition, Abyss World is leveraging AI to drive innovation across various aspects of the game—from NPC behaviors to its Bot versus Bot (BvB) gameplay. To ensure fairness in game outcomes, Space and Time’s unique architecture enables distributed storage of AI algorithms tied to hero character metadata, achieving full decentralization of the game's core, ensuring verifiability of AI models, and enabling continuous evolution of hero characters.
It is reported that Abyss World will soon launch free NFT minting events in collaboration with Magic Eden and leading NFT platforms on Sui. NFT holders will be able to earn rewards by watching live streams of BvB arenas (AI battles) and predicting match outcomes.
