TechFlow news — according to the official Discord announcement, Sui has now closed applications for the Recognition Sale, which is exclusively open to community members who joined the Discord server before February 1. Over 340,000 accounts qualify.
The final number of Recognition Sale submissions stands at 180,000. The Sui Foundation will use a random selection algorithm to randomly pick 96,000 winning accounts from these 180,000 submissions (assuming each whitelisted user purchases at the maximum quota). Users in regions with unclear regulatory frameworks may need to complete additional participation steps.
The Sui Foundation will begin contacting whitelisted users via email starting April 20, 2023, and the whitelist will be activated on exchanges on April 21.
Additionally, the Sui Foundation will not request any information previously submitted by winners, and the emails will not contain any external links. Users are advised to remain vigilant against scams and phishing attempts.
