TechFlow reports that Web3 XR fighting live-streaming platform Karate Combat has announced the completion of an $18 million funding round. The round was led by Bitkraft Ventures, with participation from Delphi Digital, The Operating Group, Alpha Wave Global, Hashkey, Lattice, M13, Santiago Santos, and RooxieXBT.
According to reports, fighters on the Karate Combat platform engage in immersive battles within CGI environments, streamed live for users to watch. The platform's XR technology is powered by Epic Games' Unreal Engine, and users can earn a token called KARATE through the app and by watching matches.
