TechFlow reports that market-making protocol Swaap has raised $4.5 million in seed funding led by Signature Ventures, with participation from New Form Capital, C² Ventures, Kima Ventures, Pareto Ventures, Entrepreneur First, and angel investors including Julien Bouteloup (Stake Capital), Pascal Gauthier (Ledger CEO), Richard Ma, Meltem Demirors (CoinShares CSO), Frederic Montagnon (co-founder of Arianee), and Thibaud Elzière (eFounders CEO).
Swaap aims to build the next-generation market-making protocol that leverages a combination of oracles and dynamic spreads to enable sustainable yields and reduce trading costs. Its unique approach is designed to provide liquidity providers with passive and profitable market-making strategies, addressing impermanent loss—a key challenge prevalent in DeFi.
