TechFlow reports that the Litecoin Foundation has announced on Twitter that users will no longer be able to use the U.S. Litecoin Visa card starting May 1, 2023. This is due to partner Unbanked transitioning from its banking partner, Metropolitan Commercial Bank, which has decided to cease support for businesses involved with digital currencies.
This move will only affect Unbanked's U.S. card program and will not impact cards in the European Union or the United Kingdom, nor will it affect withdrawals. In the meantime, Unbanked will seek alternative banking partners in the United States.
