TechFlow reports, according to its official Twitter account, MetaMask responded on social media regarding a lengthy post by its developer Taylor Monahan about an "unexplained token theft attack," clarifying that the theft of over 5,000 ETH from 11 blockchain addresses mentioned in the post was not specifically due to a MetaMask vulnerability. Claims suggesting that the MetaMask wallet was hacked are incorrect. MetaMask is currently collaborating with professionals in the Web3 wallet space to investigate the source of this vulnerability.
