TechFlow reports that the Arbitrum Foundation has announced Lido Protocol is eligible for the ARB airdrop due to its significant role in the Arbitrum DeFi ecosystem.
According to the airdrop documentation, Lido Protocol qualifies to claim 772,621 ARB tokens.
In response to this airdrop, the Lido DAO reWARDS Committee has proposed a vote on whether to accept the Arbitrum airdrop and how to effectively utilize the received ARB tokens.
The Lido DAO community plans to distribute the ARB tokens alongside existing liquidity mining incentives for the wstETH pool on Arbitrum One, aiming to encourage broader usage of wstETH across the Arbitrum ecosystem. The reWARDS Committee will set up a new multi-signature wallet on Arbitrum One to receive the ARB tokens. The proposal voting will conclude on April 22, with current support standing at 100%.
