TechFlow News, April 15 — Exchanges including OKX, Bybit, and Kucoin announced they will list Sui Token, with each exchange introducing a whitelist-based subscription mechanism for Sui Token. There is currently no news of Binance listing Sui Token. Taking OKX as an example, OKX Jumpstart will launch the SUI token sale on April 23, 2023 (UTC+8), adopting a new "subscription + lottery" model. The general sale allocation price for SUI will be set at 1 SUI = 0.1 USD, with a maximum individual purchase limit of 10,000 SUI. An additional recognition sale is available exclusively to contributors within the Sui ecosystem. To participate in the recognition sale, users must have been officially whitelisted by the Sui Foundation. Whitelisted users may purchase up to 1,500 SUI at a discounted price of just 0.03 USD per token from a pool of 25,000,000 SUI, with tokens fully unlocked upon mainnet launch.
Earlier reports indicated that Evan Cheng and Adeniyi Abiodun, co-founders of Mysten Labs—the team behind Sui—stated during a Twitter Space session that there would be a community access program featuring a whitelist of 100,000 individuals.
