TechFlow news, according to an official announcement from OKX, the OKBC Layer2 network on Ethereum has officially launched its testnet. Users can claim testnet OKB via the OKX Web3 wallet to experience the network. Focused on enhancing security and seamless integration, OKBC supports decentralized application deployment with full EVM and Cosmos compatibility, and provides reliable smart contract auditing services, helping OKX's 50 million users easily explore Web3.
As previously reported, OKBC’s development roadmap outlines a three-phase approach to Ethereum scalability: V1 is an Ethereum Proof-of-Authority (PoA) sidechain focused on high performance and low transaction fees; V2 will upgrade to an Ethereum-native ZK Rollup platform, significantly improving scalability and efficiency; V3 will enable cross-chain communication between ZK Rollups, using OKB as the connecting asset to deliver a Web2-like user experience in Web3.
