TechFlow news, zkSync has announced a significant update to its security mechanism by introducing an "execution delay."
The "execution delay" means that each L2 block submitted to L1 will have a time lock before execution and finalization. The initial delay is set at 24 hours, which will gradually decrease as the system matures, until the Alpha label is removed and the delay is completely eliminated. The zkSync team will monitor each block and will be able to investigate any anomalies or red flags such as rapid outflows or unusually large withdrawals.Source link
