TechFlow news, OKX Ventures announced a strategic investment in Scroll, an Ethereum Layer-2 ZK-based Rollup scaling solution, to support Scroll in improving Ethereum's performance issues.
Scroll is a zk-Rollup (ZKR) developing zkEVM, aiming to build an EVM-compatible ZK-Rollup with a robust proof network. Its Alpha testnet has already launched on Goerli, attracting over 180,000 unique wallets and completing 665,000 transactions. The team expects the mainnet to go live within the next 3–4 months.
Earlier reports indicate that Scroll raised $50 million in funding from investors including Polychain Capital, Sequoia China, Bain Capital Crypto, Moore Capital Management, Variant Fund, Newman Capital, IOSG Ventures, and Qiming Venture Partners. The funds will be used for product development, mainnet launch, ecosystem expansion, and growing the team from 60 to nearly 100 members. Sources say Scroll’s valuation in this round reached $1.8 billion.Source link
