TechFlow news, the Fantom Foundation has announced the release of a new version of the Fantom mainnet (go-opera version 1.1.2-rc.5). The upgrade includes significant improvements in P2P and event/block processing, reducing event/block processing time by approximately 30%; Genesis file processing speed is up to 3 times faster (except for archived Genesis files).
In addition, the new version makes adjustments to the database layer, enabling integration of multiple data storage types (LevelDB and PebbleDB), and supports database batching for genesis processing and desynchronized data flushing.Source link
