TechFlow reports, on February 28, Sui Network CTO Sam Blackshear—also known as the creator of the Move programming language—posted a tweet directly addressing Aptos Network. He revealed that he learned Aptos intended to pressure Pontem Network into canceling speaking invitations for two Move OGs and the Move compiler author at movecon.live, as well as removing the Sui Foundation from the list of event organizers. Sam Blackshear stated that although he works at Mysten Labs, when making decisions related to Move, he sets aside his role at Mysten and focuses solely on what benefits Move and its community's long-term health. Inclusion, curiosity, and gratitude are core values of Move, he emphasized, adding that we should welcome, listen to, and appreciate those who spend time preparing talks and traveling to attend conferences, rather than canceling their invitations at the last minute.Source link
