TechFlow news – On February 28, the Ethereum Foundation announced that the Ethereum developer conference Devcon 7 will be held in Southeast Asia in 2024. Explaining why it won't take place in 2023, the Ethereum Foundation stated it wants to give the emerging Ethereum communities in Southeast Asia more time to mature and further develop. Additionally, there are now more Ethereum events and communities worldwide than ever before, and the Foundation hopes to create space for these local community initiatives to grow. The post also highlighted that Southeast Asia presents significant untapped and growing opportunities, similar to those seen in South America. Four countries from Southeast Asia rank in the top 20 of the Global Crypto Adoption Index, with Vietnam and the Philippines ranking first and second, respectively. (Source link)
