TechFlow News — The Klaytn Foundation, one of the primary developers and code maintainers of the South Korean blockchain platform Klaytn, is making changes to the Klaytn network's governance system and the economic model of its native KLAY token. The Klaytn Foundation will collaborate with the Klaytn Governance Council to help transition the Klaytn blockchain to a fully permissionless validator structure, enabling public participation as block validators, and introducing a communication channel for Klaytn community members to engage in the decision-making process.
Additionally, the Foundation will enhance governance transparency by using the governance protocol Klaytn Square to disclose the Governance Council’s on-chain voting agendas and statuses in real time. The Foundation will submit a revised token economics proposal to the Governance Council early this week, with final agendas and proposals to be announced on February 28 alongside the 2023 technical roadmap.Original link
