TechFlow News — Zion, a Miami-based decentralized social platform, has raised $6 million in funding at a $53 million valuation. The round was led by XBTO Humla Ventures and joined by Kingsway Capital, Bitcoiner Ventures, UTXO Management, as well as individual investors including Tony Robbins, Aaron Rodgers, Aubrey Marcus, Mark Moss, Cory Klippsten, Robert Breedlove, Shawn Stevenson, Dan Held, Griffin Johnson, Anthony Pompliano, and Donald Park.
Zion's protocol enables creators to own their communities while allowing users to control their online identities. Built on Jack Dorsey’s Block’s Web5 standard and the Bitcoin Lightning Network, Zion’s v2 application already has a waitlist exceeding 60,000 users.
Zion reports having served over 3,000 creators and facilitated more than 120,000 transactions between creators and fans via the Lightning Network.Original link
