TechFlow news — In response to Paxos, the stablecoin issuer, facing litigation from the U.S. SEC over BUSD, Ryan Selkis, founder of Messari, tweeted: "My new life goal is to end Gary Gensler's political career and make him the reason Biden fails to win re-election. I will join Brian [Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong], Jesse [Kraken founder Jesse Powell], and dozens of others who have spent a decade positioning America as the leader in the next major technological frontier. I will dedicate every ounce of my energy, financial resources, and political capital to fight the morally bankrupt and corrupt enemies of cryptocurrency. Sensible regulation matters. De facto bans will be met with relentless opposition."
Selkis noted that he had carefully avoided making statements worsening his relationship with the SEC for 15 years, but this time expressed his frustration toward the SEC using explicit language. Source link
