As one of the earliest advocates and practitioners in China's blockchain industry, this marks the first time in over a decade that Sun has systematically shared his insights and reflections on the blockchain sector.
In his new book "Blockchain and the Digital New World," Sun presents how blockchain technology, over more than ten years of development, has profoundly transformed traditional technology, industries, and markets. It highlights how blockchain’s value has gradually gained broad social recognition and become an essential foundation for the next generation of global finance and internet infrastructure.
Sun mentions in the book that today’s internet is at a turning point ripe for intense transformation, having drifted away from its original decentralized ideals. The book is published and distributed by Contemporary World Press, a publishing house under the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. This is Sun's first professional industry publication. Previously, in 2017, he released an autobiographical inspirational book titled "The World Is Both Cruel and Gentle," which became one of the year's major bestsellers among young readers. Sun was also ranked among the top 30 Chinese post-90s writers from 2016 to 2018.
