TechFlow News: On June 8, Yuga Labs announced via Twitter that it had conducted a white-hat operation to address a newly discovered vulnerability in the Flooring Protocol and is temporarily safeguarding the rescued assets, including 29 Bored Apes, 4 Mutant Apes, 1 BAKC, 2 CryptoPunks, 1 Azuki, 2 Elementals, 26 Captains, 1 Moonbird, and 2 Doodles.
Yuga Labs stated that the protocol had been exploited earlier that day, resulting in the theft of certain collection assets. Its Vice President of Blockchain, @0xQuit, led the effort to recover the aforementioned NFTs. Yuga Labs added that it will collaborate with the protocol’s development team going forward and return the assets once a solution is finalized—potentially involving contract redeployment and token-based compensation measures within the protocol.
