TechFlow news — Binance announced on January 10, 2023, that it has been approved by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Swedish FSA) to register as a financial institution for managing and trading virtual currencies. This means residents of Sweden can now access Binance's broad range of cryptocurrency and Web3 services, including depositing and withdrawing euros, purchasing cryptocurrencies with euros, trading, staking, and the Binance Visa card.
Previously, Binance had engaged in constructive dialogue with the regulator over several months. Binance is now authorized in seven EU member states—the others being France, Italy, Lithuania, Spain, Cyprus, and Poland—and in fifteen jurisdictions globally.Original link
